Jonathan C. Kieschnick, Houston Personal Injury Trial Lawyer
I am a personal injury lawyer that fights for you
I don’t like bullies. If an insurance company, a big business, or anybody else is trying to push you around or treat you unfairly after you’ve been injured, I want to fight for you. Since insurance companies and big corporations are more frequently trying to avoid responsibility for their actions now more than ever, it is very important to hire a lawyer who is willing to go the distance for you.
My background uniquely qualifies me to do just that. For the first eight years of my law career, I was an attorney at law firms that were hired by insurance companies and big businesses in personal injury cases. As a result, I learned the tricks and tactics that insurance companies and big corporations use in an effort to get away with paying little to nothing even when they were totally responsible for causing harm to innocent people. The experience was valuable but my heart was with the people who were victimized by insurance companies and big businesses. So, I switched sides and am so grateful for the chance to help people when they are up against those who try to intimidate or short-change.
Experience matters when considering a personal injury lawyer
During the course of my career as a lawyer, I went to trial in enough cases to become Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law in 2006. In order to be board-certified, an attorney must try a bunch of cases, pass a two-day exam and get favorable recommendations from judges and lawyers. Less than 7% of all of the lawyers in Texas are board-certified. In addition to board certification, I was very flattered to be named a Texas Super Lawyer in 2013 and every year thereafter to date. This honor meant a lot to me because it requires a nomination from fellow lawyers as well as an evaluation of my track record.
I’m a Longhorn. Before becoming an attorney, I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1993. I went straight from college to law school at South Texas College of Law in downtown Houston where I was very fortunate to compete in competitions all over the country for the famed Moot Court Team under the legendary Gerald Treece. I graduated from law school in 1996 and got my law license that same year.
If you need a lawyer, I am here for you. My excellent staff at my office and I insist on treating everybody – including our opponents – with decency and respect. Many of our clients do not speak English which is why I’ve equipped my office with caring co-workers who are fluent in Spanish. We highly prioritize communication with our clients and would be privileged to fight your legal battle for you.
